How do I get started organizing and simplifying my life?

Getting started with The DocSafe is very simple.  You will need to first sign-up for The DocSafe.  From there, as you review the questions in My Profile, you will be able to quickly determine the information that you will need to gather.  Don't worry - you do not need to have everything available in one session.  Our Members use The DocSafe often, coming back when they acquire new information that they want to protect.  Spend a few minutes looking at How it Works to see how easy The DocSafe is to use.

How do I get my documents into a format so that they can be uploaded?

You will need to scan in any document that you wish to save in The DocSafe. If you have a multifunction printer, then you probably already have scanning capabilities. In addition, some of your documents can be sent to you in a digital format by your advisors. For example, your estate planning attorney could provide your executed estate planning documents on a disk or flash drive. Your insurance agent could also forward your policies and beneficiary designation forms digitally.
